The Lessons
The Rumiñahui Spanish School is run by a young but experienced team. It teaches Spanish to foreigners with proved and successful methods which have been time-tested over years and further developed. Lessons are composed of grammar, conversation and practise and follow a fundamental and structured concept.
Teaching methods are varied, depending on the needs and prior ability of the students, but they all have one thing in common: the dedication of the teachers to the students’ welfare and an easy approach which makes learning Spanish simple and fun. The classes are held one-on-one, meaning one professor teaches one student at a time. This kind of teaching allows the teacher to focus on the individual needs and issues of their particular student and guarantees the success of learning a new language. The occasional breaks (a proven aid to effective learning) and the weekly Salsa lessons allow all students and teachers to exchange their experiences. As the classes are individual, schedules are flexible and the timing and number of lessons per day can be chosen according to the student and teachers.
During classes you will learn about Ecuadorian and South American culture. Outings to the city centre and to the area around Quito will be part of your teaching program if you wish.
